Christopher Kane 2013 Menswear A/W

Right now some of the other students on my course are getting their portfolios ready for university interviews yet I'm not... And it makes me feel very stuck. I'm stopping on another year at college because I can do the art foundation course here (which is a good opportunity)  but I am really ready for a change. I'm kinda fed up of hearing about people getting interviews and how they went and what offers they've got... I mean I'm happy for them but I can't wait to be in that position too!!!

I've been looking into different universities and their courses and the ones that stick out to me are London College of Fashion, Central St Martins, Leeds College of Art and Bournemouth arts. Yeah I know applying to London is a big deal because I don't know what my chances are (people won't stop telling me as if I DON'T KNow) and that makes me even more frightened because if I didn't get accepted I don't know how my self esteem would take that. Should I even bother applying?? Argh I suppose it's a good thing that I get nearly a whole extra year to think about it! ANYWAY.

Christopher Kane 2013 Autumn/Winter Menswear

I came across this collection today and I fell in love with the prints. Taken from his womenswear Spring/Summer 2013 collection (Above) Christopher Kane decided to use the Frankenstein monster prints again but this time for menswear. Sketches of  Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, mummies, werewolves and other fabled creatures by his 8 year old nephew inspired Kane to print their faces all over his clothes creating a cool monster mash-up featuring oversized coats with sharp lapels and rather lovely quilted bomber jackets with leather panels.
